I like what I'm seeing already. The basic shapes are being blocked out and already looks great.

Hi guys, finally the clay has arrived, so I can continue the work! :thumbsup I added head and neck material, but now I'm focused on the head! It is difficult to give it the right shape, but slowly I see improvements! The magic of the Vader mask is asymmetry, but it is also a nightmare to sculpt! :rolleyes

Looking good. A good way for us to determine shape is if you photograph the subject from about 6 feet back and use zoom, if you have it. That will give the best representation of the shape. :cheers

Thanks Carsten for the tip, I add a six foot photo! And I also add the photo that continues the sequence in the same place and from the same distance! I added the tubes on one side, which helps me sculpt the neck! :thumbsup

Hello guys! Here are the mask's latest advances, and I'll add a 6-foot photo roughly! I'm glad I redid the sculpture, so it's much faster than continuing to modify the fiberglass of the previous mask...

The latest changes mainly concern the neck and the size of the head! Very difficult to sculpt well! Now I can focus on the details!

Hi guys, I started to smooth the bulk of the mask, to start seeing the finished general appearance! I add photos in the side view! If someone to recommend something we gladly accept suggestions! :thumbsup

You really have a good eye for shapes. One thing, and I may be completely wrong, but the neck seems a bit too flared right down at the very bottom edge.

Thanks for the tip, the neck actually hasn't had a careful job yet! After publishing these photos I realized that the biggest defect is the angle of the mouth and the lower tusk tube! The corner must form a 90 degree angle, something less to be precise, but here it is too closed! I've already started working on it!
