From their name I always pictured a kind of concussion blast that would knock people back or something. A deleted scene shows they are able to simulate a kind of force choke, but I always thought that was kinda stupid.

You mean the ROTJ deleted scene with Vader and Jerjerrod and the 2 Royal Guards in front of the elevator? I always thought Vader was choking Jerjerrod and the guards were trying to stop Vader

Thank you. :) And here are some more details from the artist: It's brush pen & acrylic colours on 300gsm Cold Pressed, 100% Cellulose Acid Free Water colour paper.
