hi folks!

registered for 10 years now and only 161 posts in total...what a shame :pale so I thought: let's start a new thread :rolleyes

foa I don't ask you to feed me with predigested Information which I am supposed to find myself (mummy always told me to do my homework) so please don't be offended :) I just had different variations of chest armors since I am - as the complete nerd I am - into this Hobby.

My understanding is, that there are these armors around:

- SPFX (had to repress the Memory of this name) - probably a recast of the GH armor.
- GH (and GH Master?) I once hat a GH set but sold it, iirc it was a GH Master set.
- elstree cast (I know nothing about it)
...

that was it. Saw the run on the ESB stunt armor offered by Mark here (already pm'ed him).

Which kind of armor do YOU have on your display / Mannequin? Which kind of armor do YOU consider not as "the best" but worthy as an addition to a helmet like a TM ESB or TM/JRX ROTJ (which I both have)?

Additional info: I don't want to troop in it since this would be an offense to every serious Vader guy out there, any pictures of this horrific scenario would end in the 'room of doom' on the good old swhelmets site.

Welcome back mate :)

There is not only one Elstree armor but a few set which differ from set to set. There are also some tour armors out there which different kind of surface details and there certainly are armors from Darth Stone and Bookface. I think with a proper finish in accurate colors you cant go wrong with either of these sets. For trooping i would buy a set especially for the troop.

remember that Darth Stone offered 20th century casts back in the day - also had one - but I can't remember that he did armor as well :)

Welcome back Propsmith :thumbsup

I've been looking for good armour too, I want to complete my Vader bust (finally lol).

The GH set was beautiful, the only thing I didn't like was the wide spread of the neck opening and the rear. Supposedly GH fixed this and the fixed shape is what's being offered by SPFX.
I can't bring myself to support SPFX, we all know about his history here.

I recently made enquiries about Elstree but no luck from my end, source seems to have dried up unfortunately.

The stunt set is really nice but I want a full width set.
