That Hot Toys mod looks amazing! I was planning on doing something similar with the Sideshow Vader years ago and never got around to it. When the vastly superior Hot Toys showed up in January I revised the plan to try with one of those -- we'll see if that ever happens, lol -- always with the hope that Carsten's scaled parts would come along at some point to make the ultimate 1/6 Vader (help us Carsten, you're our only hope!!).

Congratulations on yet another incredible item in one of the best collections I've ever seen

Nice line up! And well displayed. I especially like how Vader towers over the hologram of the Emperor. We know who's really in charge!

Oh and if anyone ever asks "Why do you have so many toys... didn't you ever grow up?" I have my own answer ready for that. "The satisfaction I get from owning these, and the anticipation and thrill of getting the next one... doesn't mean I never grew up. It means I'll never grow old!"

And the neighborhood kids from The Den will always be eager to check out your newest toys... errrr I mean "acquisitions."

"Star Wars Art: Ralph McQuarrie" art books arrived. These books are huge and superb. Splendid design, you can find out everything about the talented artist that was Ralph McQuarrie. High quality binding, beautiful pictures of his gorgeous drawings, and excellent information. A must have book for any Star Wars fan, especially if bought at the original Amazon UK lower price.

Ooohhh I'm tempted... U.S. amazon.com price is $170. Is that comparable to the U.K. lower price you mention?

Holy crap that was a great deal!

I'm going to add this to my wishlist for now and hope that it will come down in price a bit.

Would make a great coffee table set to display and flip through.  But I may need a bigger coffee table.

I know you're very familiar with all of his artwork.  Have you found anything that wasn't included in this set?  Or some things you haven't seen before?
