Wanted to add (if I didn't already say so) - that Vader chest armor set looks amazing. Anyone know where it came from? Of all things, it has the right slope to the shoulder instead of the football player look that has warped into shape over time through recasts.

I'll bet it is relatively "closed" front to back too - aside from surface details the form of it seems almost ANH.

At least in the shots of Vader holding red lightsaber and facing Luke.

Thanks for the info FON.

Any idea about the story behind C 3PO? It looked very accurate to me (two parts helmet, not a single cast).

I'm unsure where the C3P0 came from. I only know Gino was involved regarding the parts mentioned above. They most likely found another source for some of their other display pieces.

Nice photos - thanks for sharing! Some of the PR of the development of this exhibit shows a photo of caliber measurements being made by MT's senior sculptor Dave Burks of a ROTJ helmet from the LFL archives http://www.thecollectorscantina.com/article/madame-tussauds-releases-new-picture-upcoming-star-wars-exhibit. So I presume the Vader displays were a collaborative effort. I do wish the lighting for the ESB Bespin display were more like the movie shots. It's a bit too bright and direct, making the gunmetal grey look too light. A more Kershner-like lighting setup would add some realism, but not as easy for the crowds to photograph or see the detail.
