Nice! Those rocker switches look great. I was told at one point those switches were made out of wood on the real thing but I think that opinion was derived from the seeming "grain" in them...

...which could have been from brushed on paint. Maybe.

Rocker switches abound.

Nice! Even a similar color! It would be great to get measurements off those, heights, thicknesses, etc. :cheers

Good find!! Yes, if you can share some specs, we could definitely make comparisons. Thanks for sharing!

I came across this thread and managed to source one of these toys. I found an ebay listing which fortunately had a ruler (CM) along side it and I was able to extrapolate the measurements which I feel are pretty damn close to what is known about the rockers.

As such, though a gamble, I paid for it. It's gonna take a minute to get here from the Ukraine though...Hopefully it's a fruitful gamble

So I'll be getting the toy in by the end of the month, probably. I'm not entirely sure it was worth it but a few other vader-heads are curious to see what comes of this. If not, but if they're close in size as I estimate, then I'll probably still make a mold of them as I need new rockers anyways....at least my girlfriend thinks the toy is "cute"

Well, it arrived today. Gotta say that I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but yea, I'm not terribly impressed. While they definitely look the part from the pics we've seen, taking them apart, you'll see that as they are, are very tall and and the top/bottom walls are too round. The size (length and width) on the other hand seem pretty good though.

I'm not gonna cut it a complete loss, though. I'll probably make a one time mold out of Monsterclay, cast a resin version and modify it to make a master rocker. I don't have my ruler and my chest box mock up isn't perfect either

From the Ukraine...

Remarkable condition given the age

Managed to remove them without damaging anything-it all just snaps together

Mock up: One of the rockers in the kit I is larger than the rest of them (don't know why) but this rocker matched the toy's switches in terms of length and width, surprisingly.

So yea. Lesson learned, but as I stated above, I can make a modified version.

The one thing I don't have that I'll need is the angles for which the top/bottom walls are suppose to be at and the inner and upper most heights of the rockers....

Only other thing left is to see if this toy still works. The girlfriend thinks it's cute..
