I took some outdoor pics of my Sterling E-11 Stormtrooper blaster after fixing my old camera:

Thanks for the kind words. :) Both the Sterling E-11 and Merr Sonn blaster stands were made by a talented friend of mine - he also made the awesome 1:1 Yoda lamps you might have seen. I always wanted a solid Imperial armory looking stands for my blasters.

I think mirror stands with clear acrylic holders go well for elegant lightsabers and space ships. But for rough blasters and land vehicles you need weapon racks, as well as environment/diorama bases. So Rob made these 2 solid metal stands for me.

eFX Darth Vader Legend #130 joined my collection. A very cool rough helmet, and even better was the fact that I was able to compare both the Legend and the Limited Edition closely.

Wish I could take detailed comparison photos of the two, but the weather is rainy and I also decided to put the LE in its original box. This is because I don't have a place to display it, and there is a pending local buyer for it, which makes me very happy that it most likely won't leave my country.

Not too impressed about the Tsuneo Sanda print the helmet came with. But really impressed by the best offer price I was able to get the helmet with. In the end I simply couldn't pass on such a great deal, which would have been perfect even for an US customer, not to mention an international buyer where shipping, taxes, VAT etc. would make so hard to get it.

I saw this listing as well - glad it went to a good home! Your pictures and video really do it justice.

I know the overall shape is supposed to be the same for Limited and Legend, but in yours do you see any difference? Particularly in the dome, from the side-by-side picture it looks like the Legend dome might be a bit different (wider arch at the top, and the bottom corners up front a bit more).

Thanks. :cheers It's only the angle of the photos. I tried both domes on both helmets and they look identical.

A few great Star Wars books that I recently received: "The Making of Star Wars Trilogy", "Star Wars Archives", and "The Visual Dictionary":

And a fantastic non Star Wars book - "Terminator Vault", which has various prop replicas inside it:

I like that blaster. And the stands are phenomenal. Your friend really should sell those. :)

Cool on the purchase of the Legend eFX Vader. Very nice piece.

And that Terminator book. Are there many pictures of the endoskeletons?

Thanks Carsten. I asked my friend about making these for sale and he said he will not make them now but he will think about it.

Unfortunately i didn't have the time to read the Terminator book as I want. I only looked into it to see the prop replicas. Like other people don' like to learn about spoilers (I don't mind that) I don't like to just browse a book for pics. I need to get my time to read it, and it will happen after the 3 Making of I finished :) But from what I've seen it is a great book, and has enough endos in it

That's cool. I think I'm the opposite... because I'm such a slow reader I just browse the pictures first. The only recent book I read all before browsing was Brian Muir's book. Just couldn't put it down. :)

I'll try and see if I can track that Terminator book down. Looks like a good one. :)

Star Wars Costumes arrived. Such a GREAT book, it is excellent for any Star Wars fan, no matter if prop collector or not.
