Found this page and looked through his WIP project page. Some pretty interesting stuff. Anybody heard of or know this guy?

To me it looks like a reworked, slightly wonky copy of the Don Post Classic Action helmet. It could be something else, however. The Don Post helmets are reputed to be a ESB face and RotJ dome (personally I think both are RotJ style).

That's Venky from the gbfans forum. I ordered a Gozer Temple Door from him but I haven't received anything yet. I'll let you know when it arrives. I think he's a bit behind orders atm because of a bad 3rd degree burn.

First time my guess is right (thanks to the studies here @ the Den) I thought immediately "Don Post".
Seems to be a very talented and productive artist. Best wishes for his recovery!

Venky took more time than he promised and there were some conversation problems because of his family all getting a bad virus at the same time but he was so nice including the terror dogs and gargoyles almost for free because of that. As this wasn't necessary at all I think it's a great gesture; while collecting SW stuff you're getting used to lame seller behaviour A LOT, so I REALLY appreciate that.

I hope the parcel will reach me asap, can't wait to set it all up with my 6" NECA/Matty GB figures :-D
