I wanted to know if someone could point me in the right direction... I'm trying to put together a Harness for Darth Vader's Chest Box, but I don't know where to begin. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Try 99centTaco on RPF or The Dented Helmet

I agree with Mac that these harness is a way to go, personally own one of it and i'm happy !

John was banned a time ago at the RPF due to delays in delivery.
As far i know they came out of bad moments in private life,
don't know if they're now solved and he's back to business.

Id say gather up some reference pics, get a hold of some leather and a few snaps and buckles and have a crack at it..I got mine with a chest box from Porty [I think] and just took It off and reused it..
good luck!

Sometimes at stores like Marshalls they have very cheap merchandise. You may be able to find some narrow belts and fix yourself up with a respectable hold-me-over. Remember, the strap was barely noticable on-screen anyway, and if seen, it's peek out from under the armor and under the robe. In other words, the audience-facing parts can be leather, and the rest does not have to be. So if you found something you like better, like camping gear straps, and then found a way to sew or attach the two, you need simply one long narrow belt to provide the visible material, and anything else under the armor and robe can be that camping gear strap material.

Hope that makes sense.
