If someone has a TE, TE2, AA/SDS or a GINO, could you provide me with the skullcap width and depth measurements at the temples (or at the black strip).

Thanks!

Think it's because he's trying to sculpt his own trooper.

I don't have any of the helmets either, only an AP, so can't help you, sorry.

Thanks, crow... and thanks guys!

Whew, good ave. I recall Crow mentioning 8.5 inches... but I nearly made my skullcap 9.5 inches deep instead of 9 inches. Good save!

Yes, I basically need these measurements as a starting point for my scratchbuilt Stormtrooper!

Do you have a non-battlespec helmet? My original "specs" for my scratchbuild was 8.5" x 9.5". I think I'd prefer a deeper skullcap but I wanted to confirm this. Thanks!

well, all I can say is I got the tape measure in there and actually tried my best to straighten it out front to back (kinda tricky between my hard hat liner) and it measures almost exactly 9". if i try to measure the outside dimension it appears like it could be closer to 9.5 but it's hard to project the measurement.

I sometimes put objects between two books, then measure the distance between the books.

Is your helmet a regular helmet or a battlespec? I don't know if there are dimensional differences between the two.

Thanks, Cap'n!

Hi Paul,

Nice to see you over here. Thanks for the info. Still think your armour is the best.

Cheers Chris.

Paul, thanks... this is good to know. Forgive me if I'm not knowledgeable about your helmets, but were your measurements based off of any particular prop?
