The left eye(as you look at it) the wonky frown the vocoder the ultrasharp ears i wouldnt call those minor flaws myself i wouldnt even describe it as a hero helmet.

Mac - as I said I'm not going to do comparisons with other helmets at this point as I just dont want to get dragged into another "x is better than y" argument - especially since we know the MR is only a prototype. There'll be plenty of time for that when the production version is ready.

Gary - Those are the sort of things I've pointed out to MR which they're in the process of "putting right" (and to be fair Bryan had highlighed himslef also) - so I'm expecting the final version to be a further improvement.

Cheers

Jez

SWC - yes I can only presume they did that as there's no "gap" present (between where the face and front of dome would be on a 2-part ABS), so needed to fill it with something.

I did point that out to Bryan, so it may be something that they change (if they can) - however imo its not a biggie as the brow does seem to sit correctly and I'm therefore wondering if its one of the compromises they've had to make given the single-piece fiberglass design used.

Size wise I'd say its more in line with an SDS than the other Stormy helmets I have. I dont have any calipers but tear edge to tear edge over the nose was the same as the SDS, and about 5mm larger than my Gino/CRProps - Not saying whats right or wrong as I dont want to get involved in another one of "those" discussions :violent

Cheers

Jez

Thanks for the info, Jez.

The small "gap" between the faceplate and the front of the dome on the "originals" is covered by the rubber brow. But you're right; it's no biggie at all and it's only a proto.

It's a nice interpretation of a TK helmet (the overall looks are great IMO) and the majority of people will love it.

Jez,

No worries; when it does cut final and if you want someone else to take the heat, just send me the photos and I'll do the comparison! :toothy

I dunno... I just saw unusual pictures of the MR helmet and thought I'd post here for comments. Or... have those pictures been shown before and I just haven't seen them?
