I did point that out to Bryan, so it may be something that they change (if they can) - however imo its not a biggie as the brow does seem to sit correctly and I'm therefore wondering if its one of the compromises they've had to make given the single-piece fiberglass design used.
Size wise I'd say its more in line with an SDS than the other Stormy helmets I have. I dont have any calipers but tear edge to tear edge over the nose was the same as the SDS, and about 5mm larger than my Gino/CRProps - Not saying whats right or wrong as I dont want to get involved in another one of "those" discussions

The small "gap" between the faceplate and the front of the dome on the "originals" is covered by the rubber brow. But you're right; it's no biggie at all and it's only a proto.
It's a nice interpretation of a TK helmet (the overall looks are great IMO) and the majority of people will love it.
