Hi guys, I started to change the mouth, but this mistake will lead me to have to adjust many more! Here in the photo you can see the difference after the modification! The muzzle is much less elongated and disproportionate!

Hi guys! When I find some free time I try to dedicate it to this project! I started sculpting teeth, and smoothing the whole mask a bit in general! I'll take all winter to finish it and sculpt all the details well!

Looking really awesome. It should flare out so much on its left side - right in the pictures - at the bottom of the neck. It should also curve back in behind the neck at the rear.

But to think this is a sculpt. Pretty damn amazing. :)

Thanks for the nice words and the tips! :thumbsup I'll probably have to add some material on the back to make the back curve well! In the previous modification to the mouth I had removed almost an inch of material in front, I will add it behind to accentuate the curvature of the neck!

The sculpt is coming along nicely.

I feel the downward curve before the sweep up on the wavy cheek(left hand side, right picture) is a bit to long.

Thanks for the tip, plus I'm not satisfied with that cheek, and so I'll work on it again!

Hello everyone! I have almost reached the goal I set for myself, I really like the sculpture of the mask how it is ending! I have few things left to correct! The bulk of the work is total smoothing, but I find it difficult as a beginner sculptor! I believe that after the winter I will make the mold and then I will go and polish the mask, as I did with the previous one!

Here I tried to place a dome on the mask!

Oh, that is looking amazing. Pretty impressed by the skill shown. And that dome looks good on it.

The way the original was smoothed was they molded the clay cast and made a plaster cast that was then sharpened before molding again to produce the final piece. Clay may be too difficult to really smooth well without risking damage to the sculpt. Maybe that's an option?

Thanks guys for the kind words! I think I'll do the finish on the first fiberglass mask, last time with the previous mask it was quite simple, so I'll use the same procedure! :thumbsup

Hi everyone, while I was retouching all the last parts to be finished, I tried to sculpt the boards! They are by no means accurate, but this was just a test! The mask is practically finished, the rest of the finishing will be done on the fiberglass! Unfortunately I don't have a heated place to work with fiberglass and the low temperatures where I live stop me from trying to make the mold, I'm not an expert and wouldn't want to ruin all the work during the process! Hope to find a suitable place to finish so I can start the helmet!
