In case you missed this:

EFX has a pre-order for the Mandalorian Helmet - sourced from the original Mandalorian molds to produce the screen used helmets.

As does Anovos - sourced from digital scans of the screen used helmets.

The big question is: will any of them even deliver?

Both are (allegedly) are already in final production and supposed to ship in November (first batch of Anovos orders), and December (EFX).

Will be interesting to see how long these will be delayed. With the Mandalorian being released Nov. 12, I bet Disney wants these out the door. Especially with a potential class action lawsuit looming against Anovos, EFX and Disney.

Just got word the first batch of Mando helmets are arriving in the US on June 5th. A couple of days in customs, then EFX should have them by the 10 or so.

I just received notification to pay my balance. So. Yeah. Here they come.

Cool. I think eFX could use a success to get back on track.

I had to focus on various unfinished projects last year, but I hope I don’t ultimately regret not picking this one up. Love the series, but it was just a bit overpriced for me and efx was/is a risk. Looking forward to seeing this in people’s collections. It looks awesome.

I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t jump in this one. I haven’t trusted ANOVOS or EFX. The stories of non-deliveries and 4-5 year wait times are etched in my head.

But this one? Even though it’s not technically OT, is so damn cool, I felt it was worth the risk, and ordered the first day it went up for sale.

I was surprised they had orders available into January. More than three months. at the same time, I wasn’t surprised: A lot of people are hesitant, if not flat out scared to order from these guys. They’ve their latest offerings have been kind of duds, and the Scout Trooper Helmet was a very disappointing mess.

Agree with Carsten. EFX really need a win with this one to get themselves back on track. Initial reactions to the helmet so far have been mixed, as the painting style seems to be too dark. And they didn’t use Alumaluster. Which isn’t shocking. They had to paint 750 helmets, not 4 or 5 production helmets.

I really liked the series, and I find Mando's costume one of the most successful in the Star Wars universe, and so I was about to launch myself on one of EFX, but in the end I left it alone! I hope you will share some photos of this helmet with us when it arrives!
