That sure looks nice for a 20th c and more accurate then stones take from the 20th c.

Well I can asure you its a 20thC. Stone's wasnt the only one in existence and a few of them have been molded and casted for runs. You can clearlyu see the angle of the neck cut is flatter than other helmets. Also the dome flares out like a 20thC should. They've been offering this helmet for some time now, but it looks like they are going to release a Brian Muir signature edition soon.

Here are some shots from their shop that have been around for a while and one of a helmet in a personal collection.

The neck seems very short. I do love the eyes.

Is it just me, or is the dent where the Y Crease used to be a bit weird looking?

Yes. This is because the 20thC domes were ROTJ style and vendors ( such as RS and Stone) had to make modifications to turn it in to ESB. The modifications dont match the shape of the indent and in the case of the RS, the shorter ROTJ widows peak area was not expanded to match the ESB.

The indent really stands out as added on. It looks out of place and the dome flair is, not extreme, but a little on the to much side making the dome appear a little wide. The face looks fantastic.

I've also noticed the dome is on the thinner side with no lip.

Yeah, the thinness and the flaring of the 20th C RotJ dome is well known and documented. It's one of the worst parts of the helmet, which is a shame as the face mask is really nice and sharp compared to the other available helmets back then such as the Don Post Deluxe or recasts of that helmet. A 20th C face mask paired with a nice DP DLX dome always looked better than the stock 2th C or stock DP DLX to me and I never understood why people paired it with the GH dome instead.
