Can't wait to see this printed and painted up and shown off. Such a lovely idealized piece of averaged symmetrical perfection. :thumbsup

Cool. Looks kinda like a CR-10. What layer height are you printing in and what will you use to smooth the layer lines?

yes it is CR-10 i believe, and the layer height is .1 , will be sanding and possibly using bondo or aves. whatever David Carty thinks is bets for he will be the one doing it. ;)

Oh, you should have gone with 0.05 layer height. It takes longer, sure, but it's better for a lot of fine detail. However, once you've started with one layer height it's not good to switch to another for other parts, as it will show.

well im not the one who is printing it, and the person who is doing it recompensed to do it at .1 doesn't take as long and less change of failure. it doesn't really look all that bad, some bondo and sand paper will take care of all that.

face is done, this is a raw print, so there is prep work needed, back and dome are next, but very pleased with how this turned out cant really complain. no warping and all shapes and forms were retained.
more to come. :toothy
