Hi guys,

i know this is something asked very often in past, but have anybody found really close looking Tie Pilot hoeses?

The ones form RS props are to big in diameter and the ones from Targ are way to small.
So maybe someone knows a other source.

I would also be interested in pair, always believed they were from flight oxygen mask parts, not vacuum cleaner hoses... nor scuba hoses..... the scuba stuff only surfaced in esb, cause ilmers liked to scuba....hence the usdivers buckle, nemrod clipper, etc.... ANH was all about military surplus

Just a bump.
Still very interested. :cheers

On those oxygen mask hoses the "spiral" looked always wrong to me.
They are also made out of rubber and very soft.

I would still say that those hoses something from any air ventialtion or garden pond stuff.
But thinner as the the stuff you find on ebay.

Just take a look at this sceen cap here, where you can see that kink on the left hose and you may know what i mean:

Garden pond hose would make sense considering that was what Andrew Ainsworth was mainly making when he was approached for Star Wars, so not a bad idea.

Pond drain hose is the key.
It isn't super thin either.
I hope someone finds the exact stuff someday.

Well, the new stuff is kink-free, so you'll be looking for the type that doesn't have that, if they are still around.

Is Brandon from "the Propstore" a member here on the board?
As he handled a lot of stuff on the archives, also a screen used Tie helmet, he might could tell anything about it.

I believe The PropStore or even Brandon himself has an account here, but I don't think he's on here much. He's definitely posting on the RPF, so anyone can easily contact him through there.
