My shallow childish, er, childhood dream of having a Darth Vader helmet becoming a reality. Mike sent me an update on my TM ESB painted up with black and silver, and the child in me nearly fell out of my chair in excitement. I swear, I could hear James Earl Jones say, "That's it! The Rebels are there! .....And I'm sure Skywalker is wi-them". You couldn't wipe the smile from my face.

Since Jonas (my 4 yo) asked why my Vader helmets were missing, which is why I inquired to Mike about this status, I showed him the updated photo, and his smile might have been bigger than mine - which is also why I'm fulfilling this long overdue childhood dream. These are as much for my kids as they are for me. :)

...So today, as I work on wedding photography, as I'm kinda backed-up, I just HAVE to throw in ESB. And when that helmet shows up on my doorstep, I'll watch ESB again several times - and even though it's not padded for wearing, I might put it on just for giggles as I watch it.

Signed,

"The excited kid in me"

Big thanks, Jay, Keith, Mike, and Dave.

Looking forward to seeing pics of the final results. Those which you may show at least. I'm vicariously excited for you! I'm sure it's like counting the days before Christmas as a child.
