If so, do you think he will use the helmet he currently offers?

Would a movie production company even go for such a thing? Wouldn't they provide the tools he need?

I've heard that The Imaginarium and ILM have been working
hard to create a CGI version of Peter Cushing.
Who knows if that is just for distant shots or over
hologram?
If they are going to those lengths then it seems like
they want to match Vaders suit with the ANH one.

Shame GL didn't care enough for ROTS.

Cool. But I also hope they only use him sparingly.

Regarding GL and ep3. I'm just thinking there was so much he had to manage that it was massive overload.

If true, this is awsome. I'm not sure which came first, but Collider Jedi Council reported that 'Not only is Vader back, but that stunt suits were being made as well.

Can't wait to see.

indeed if you check the prop den on facebook several OT stormtroopers are seen in spy pics (from a drone I suspect) from the set of Rogue One

A quick look at the 2 trailer & freezing the shot of the back of Vader's helmet...am I right I in thinking It looks very similar to the ESB, ROTJ dome. The irregularities in shape lines are there & the centre strip appears a good match.

Perhaps they took the same approach as with the stormtrooper lids, to take an original & recreate it in modern production

Forgive me if I'm wrong, I haven't overly studied it, but from first eye impressions, looks very similar.
... Good way to start of what will be a long discussion

Seen and discussed this before behind the scenes. If this IS what R1 Vader looks like, I'll be tickled pink. Will definitely want one of these helmets. It's a well blended (perfectly balanced) cleaned up ANH/ESB bucket. Definitely tips more in the ANH side, but there are couple of ESB cues I like - the exposed eyebrows under the dome. The glossy refined finish of the painting. Might even go as far to say it's primarily an ESB faceplate with an ANH chin vent and an ANH widow's peak.

Can anyone confirm if those are R1 stormies? The helmets don't look entirely like the screen used R1 stormies, and I'm not familiar enough with the rest of the armor.

If this is what the R1 Vader is looking in the movie ....i like it. Not that beaten up like in ANH but with a look i would expect some months/years ago before some serious battles

If this is the new Vader, it looks bloody great, I'm getting more excited with every R1 post.

If it's from r1, why is it displayed under sideshows banner.
Surely not official(?)
