He's baaaaaack. There was another thread a few months ago were this guy was trying to sell what we figure is a first run TM helmet for an ungodly amount as well. Looks like he has relisted the helmet too. It's nice armor but seems to be missing some surface details I've seen in similar sets.

I'd say both the helmet and armor together are worth about $2500.

Interesting. Was wondering because it looked awfully pricey.

Interesting detail of top/ center stripe on armor though.

I bet its an Elstree armor. The price is a joke, especially its also slightly damaged.

Would say the price is a little bit to high. But really...just a bit.

The guy is nuts. So was the TM ESB source confirmed? Who is this guy? I'll look at the armor more carefully when I have a moment...agreed it might be Elstree, but parts of it don't even seem that sharp. Center ridge looks modified.

Will say - I have seen ANH armor and this notch seems to be about the right length. But in person, before being painted, it was a little bit of a "slip shelf" for lack of a better term. It was not just a line extending up into the armor.

I don't know how to describe it but think of an earthquake fault where the ground is at one level but then one side of the crack goes higher than the other - so that at armor's edge there is a tiny little shelf.

You can see in later movie armor that this has simply been sanded out.

But it looks like the notch was there at some point and sanded level maybe?
