Sensational pics, do you have any close ups of the "undercut lines" of vaders right eye / cheek bone area, keen to see how the markings of the raw casting is showing thru.
Also vaders right cheek, any remnant signs of the c scar under the paint?

The pics I posted are all I got...

I'll see if I can pull more out of them, but otherwise...nope.

I didn't personally notice any C scar remnants though... but I didn't get a great look either.

I looked for such things as well. Didn't see anything other than remnants of what is found on DJ/ SL castings.

Come to think of it, this ESB could even be out of that same mold for all we know.

One of my favorite helmets ever. Screen used or not this one is king material.

The nicks and gouges in the neck area seem to line up well with the Hoth invasion Vader.

Was the neck extension evident ? Can seem to see it yes or no from the photos ?

Here is the description card that was with the helmet:

I may be mistaken but from everything I have read regarding the TM helmet this Prop Store helmet seems to have a similar story behind it. The card says the helmet was "affixed" to the face. Wasn't the TM dome originally affixed to the facepiece as well? Assuming both helmets were made during ESB production could they both be from the same mold? Who knows? But it sure is interesting and a very cool helmet. Maybe this "Prop Store helmet" does deserve its own thread.

@ Jarenmcl, thank you for posting the pic of the display card! The way it's looking it wouldn't surprise me if this helmet and the TM were brothers.

Youre welcome buddy. As you said i also think its a TM brother. Wouldnt makes sense for me to have two production made ESB helmets .....used as a stand-in helmet ....and coming from different molds. Would be interesting to know an estimate....dude i love that lid :drool

This thing wasn't slated for auction I don't think. Pretty sure it was just a display item. Anyone know for sure?

The signage in the display case that Jarenmcl posted says that it is part of the "Company Collection" so I don't think it will be for sale any time soon.

Also think so...have you noticed that the scratches and dents on the nose are there on the TM ,too?
