Hello everybody.

First, I would like to apologize for the questions that I'll ask here, I know that those are always asked.

Before to start this thread, I checked this section of the board and off course, The Dented Helmet forum.

But with all the informations I've got, I finally don't know what is true or not.

I'm far to be an expert concerning Fett's helmets (my knowledge is mainly focused on stormtroopers helmets and other empire troopers).

But as an helmets fan and collector (like many of us here), I would like to add the Fett family to my collection.

I already have two helmets, bought from animefan: Jango and Boba. I guess that the Jango is one of the most accurate, but not sure about the Boba (I precise that Animefan did an outstanding job!!!).

It seems that this Boba came from the old Fettpride's molds. I know that offer now his v.2 and the GMH helmet.

So what should I do? Keep my FP v1? Purchase the v2?

I already look at the RSprop Fett helmet which seems to came from a MR master (scanned from an original helmet).

I plan to reproduce a ROTJ helmet (since EFX will certainly offer the most accurate ESB helmet).

So which helmet would be the best? I read that the GMH is smaller, the MR oversized, etc.... I'm a little bit lost with all these informations.

So my question is finally the same as many guys: which helmet is the most accurate in size, details, pedigree and material (I would prefer fiberglass than PU resin)?

And which accessories should be made out of aluminium? I see some replicas with range finger and ears made out of aluminium, other with these parts directly casted in the helmet....I'm lost guys :pale

In advance, many thanks for those would could help me and sorry if it was already answered.

How did you go on the tdh?
Try throwing open a thread on the mppc forum.
You'll find its full of fett experts from way back, some of whom know a crazy amount of detail, a bit like the vader hard cores on this site.
There is a thread there titled "fett- all you need to know"

Good luck in your search.
My advice... Read, read & read some more.
Then do your own screen shot comparisons & make your own opinion
