Spent the last two months browsing through the Anime selection on Netflix and came across this show. Having enjoyed the other shows I watched before this I sat down expecting a very enjoyable pastime, but for some reason, this particular show clicked right at home with me. For anyone not familiar with the show it is basically revolving around online role playing games at a time when it has become a fully immersive experience. It's the premiere of a new game, but once it's started, the players are trapped inside the game by the game designer without any way to get out. Dying within the game means dying IRL as well and there is no way to log out until the game is cleared. That's the basic setting and the way to advance is by fighting the boss at the top of the tower dungeon of each level in order to get to the next one - all 100 floors up. But since you can now die for real, the fun and games has been taken out of the equation and everything has now gotten deadly serious.

It has strong characters, unpredictable progression and fantastic fight scenes. And right now, season 2 is being made and that is turning out to be awesome as well.
