I'm on it... I'm just not too clever on the merging posts thing, so I'll start by just moving it. :thumbsup

Any EU customer getting the Legend? I'll most likely go for the LE clean one. I already have the LoneWolf made the same way like the screen used ones (2 ABS halves joined together), cannot wait to make a comparison

I just pre ordered the Limited version.

I don't care for the blaster nor for the weathering. And if I do want it to be weathered at a later point I could do it myself.

Ordered one myself today. Not interested in the Legend because of the bad lookin weathering. Also the shipping quotes will be horrible and i think all in all it would cost me twice as much as the Limited.....so easy decision

Would be really interested to see that comparsion.
Any idea what origin the LoneWulf helmet has?
I decided to go for a LoneWulfe as well instead as for the efx .
The legend is to expensive to get here in EU and the limited is sadly just made out of fiberglass.

I'm getting both but am hoping that EFX does something to "help"(by that I mean not-penalise) EU customers with better shipping rates as the pricing they've used in the past were just plain dumb.

Shipping through big companies like FedEx needn't be overly expensive - even for people shipping small volumes. FedEx is always open to smaller companies to negotiate on rates and failing that if your volumes are still too low there are several "middle men" shipping companies who have larger FedEx contracts and pass on lower rates to 3rd parties.

No disrespect to EFX, but they need to spend a bit of their time sorting a solution out. There's a great customer service benefit too!

Cheers

Jez

I doubt they will change anything with their shipping policy.....in fact this and their customer service combined with their quality problems is pure horror.

Well never say never.
Does anyone know the origin of the LoneWolf helmet?
Looks like he could come from the very rare Don Post Deluxe helmet.

If I remember well, Lonewolf explained on BSN that he used a standard DP (or Rubies?) to make his molds.

I did the same by the past (an early DP from 97) which is a great base to work (with reshaping and sharpening).

Totally agree. I'd like to see the day eFX really starts to care about the international customer. That day will be more shocking than a first contact with aliens.

It's really close looking.
Did Don Post had access to a screen used one? Or did LoneWolf such a great mod an the DP?

From what I observed and with measurements of a screen used helmet (thanks BSN), I always thought that DP used an original helmet to make their molds.

And the good thing is that the product wasn't so far from the real deal (in comparison with the storm, Vader, etc...)

Of course, a lot of work was necessary (reshaping, sharpening, etc...)

For example, the faceplate isn't as tall as a real one.
