This was interesting. I thought, "What an ugly mask" but then noticed the eyes were done very nicely.

Hasbro has been doing a lot of 3D modeling and work to create some really great-looking NERF blasters, so it's totally within their capability to work with 3D files. I wonder if this mask is based on a ROTS Vader given the symmetry. The face is only accurate to a certain point - and everything else is pretty flat. But I was amused with the rest that seemed proportional to the real thing. :wink:

The proportions of the face mask actually seem pretty accurate. It could potentially be used as a base for a ROTS face mask. Here are some comparison pics to the master replicas helmet

Indeed! I noticed the same thing, but the problem is that it's compressed in the Z-axis, so the face is very shallow, perhaps 2/3 the proper depth, as if Vader's face ran into a wall. But directly from the front it looks great. :thumbsup

Oh! Didn't think of that. I thought they just cut the z-axis short and didn't compress it. I'll need to see some side view comparisons.
