This is for the record.

First I'll show the thread Gino started on RebelScum (he's banned here so couldn't advertise here):

Then Jedimike1 asked a question and I replied:

And without having posted anything on the RPF, I see this:

This gives a pretty good indication of the kind of integrity shown by Art Andrews, the owner of the RPF and a good friend of Gino's. I would like to see him provide evidence of any interference on my part in any way to anyone on that forum. Otherwise let it be known to him that it is libel to state that as a reason when it is patently unfounded. I keep a record of every post I've made for several years past, and stand by that record. And everything that Art has said to me in private was a whitewash because all he is interested in doing is protect his buddies, even if they lie and commit fraud about what they are selling.

But the ban is what it is. And I think that if my record has been anything, I stand by every post I've made on that forum or any other, and I do my best to convey what I think is fair and true to the best of my knowledge. I do not regret my time there, but if I am to be banned it should be for something that is actually true, and then I would admit my wrongdoing and move on.

I leave it up to your own judgement. In my own mind years back I banned the RPF from my interest because it was not true to the pursuit of finding out whether castings are authentic. Instead it pursues popularity, profit, and pandering to licencees. And it supports those whose own integrity has proven again and again to be exemplary of nothing other than the lowest common denominator.

Perhaps there should be something new on the horizon that promises integrity and going back to the original values of what the RPF had so many years ago.

Pfff... That's absolute risible.
Have Gino bought this board, or does his head made it now complete in the admins ass?
Banned? For what? For not to have the same opinion as Gina? For to ask some uncomfortable questions?
What an asshole community the RPF has become?
That's insane!

Where is that noob thread about that Gino helmet on the RPF , can't find it.
In have send Art an PM, and asked him about that bann and what he has to say about this.

I'd say i was surprised but i'm not, Art has a serious problem separating his personal issues and agendas from the job of forum administration and this is just another example, his real issue should be members selling misrepresented goods.

Thanks for the comments, guys. You know what is kind of funny? I don't really notice a difference because I only rarely went to the RPF to look around and even more seldom to post in the past couple of years. And most of my more meaningful interactions go on off the forums. Plus it isn't like I can't see the forum, anyone can see it. So things are pretty much the same to me. Plus the Den has since its inception been the focal point for me in the hobby, and what helps me to maintain my addiction hehe. :alcoholic So I am grateful to be here and make life miserable for you guys (joke) :lol

Shake hands Thomas, i'm the next one.

I finaly made it to get banned from the RPF and TDH, too. :whip2

Well Art called me a annoying small nuisance on the board (TDH) and i called him via PM the most profil neurotic person i ever met on the net.
AND as i think ,the real reason why he banned me , i deleted him from my friendslist. muuuaahhhrrr.. have no clue how he made it there..lol.
Must be a server error.
The post where he had inslut me is now deleted.Of course, that his west will stay clean white.
Also i'm not suprised about that, i know that i'm a thorn in his eye.

With that action, he just confirm to me what he is.And to be true, i no longer wanted to be a part of that sucker communtiy of this sachem.
So he did a favor to me.
Thanks for that MR. Andrews, as i'm sure You'll read this here. :thumbsup :cheers :salut

I don't know what's going on lately with all of this? I'm hearing it more and more and it's a shame It's well known that do a good deed people barely tell anyone. Do wrong and they will tell many...

Not sure what is going on with this banning happening on so many forums. Are people (including admins and mods) losing patience so fast? Back then when I used to work as admin for a huge international music forum, we had there all kinds of people, from well known international artists and musicians, music label owners and music producers, to simple fans. Of course there were discussions, and sometimes even heated ones, but we rarely banned someone (most of the time those pesky spammers with porn and viagra links). We got some nasty PM's back then from some people but we only tried to first warn them, not full banning. People have different opinions and when stated in decent words why not listen to them? As Stephen Covey said: “Strength lies in differences, not in similarities”
