Sorry for the delay. Have been out of it with an ear infection that's still ongoing, but here is the pose I thought was cool.

I was always more interested in the Lycan version than the werewolf version from those movies.

LOL, too cool. I haven't kept up on what Tauntaun sculpts have been done in the past, but I always liked the one Luke was riding with the broken right horn.

As much as I like werewolves I agree that the lycans looked more fierce and threatening unlike being chased by a big dog. Some good reference pics there of William too. Thanks!

Building a better butt...

I wasn't happy with how 'thick' the quarters were looking so I decided to slim her down a bit. This meant ripping off much of the leg sculpt and rebuilding some of the leg armature. I am hoping to flush out the legs this weekend.

Nice mod of the legs. I know you are gonna thicken them up more, so they'll look more stocky and full of fat to keep it warm. The torso is way too skinny and the back weirdly concave, when the Tauntauns really had the posture of a chicken, more than a horse. Below is a suggestion on fattening up the torso, basically taking out the concave look of the back and giving it a bigger belly, while basically keeping the chest and shoulders where they are now.

Bases mainly on this picture:

Oh, and according to the forum info: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! :happy-b-day :as2

Thanks for the feedback and you are right about the torso still needing flushing out. Basically what I have is just the initial coverring of the plaster base with some definition roughed in. But like I am doing with the legs, the torso will undergo more bulking and refining. There will be some concavedness so the saddle won't be sitting too high as seen here:

Nice work. They really are flabby muscled creatures, eh!?

A thought though, the lower part of the leg just seems a bit too long. Shouldn't it be as long as the shin bone, and not as long as the thigh?

The issue I am having is the transition from the leg to the foot which is making the lower leg seem long. This may just be a matter of moving his foot padding (heels) back a bit.

Ah... interesting. I'd never noticed they had that extra joint down by the foot. That truly is an alien design.

You probably already have this, but thought it was cool. The Propstore cast from original mold TaunTaun head.
