Here's the last helemt I worked on. A Dan Laws HDPE helmet.

Worked as a "screenused" ANH helmet. Still have to add a set of mic tips.

First coat of khaki paint (inside and outside of the separate parts). Ears are made out of ABS.
Then I painted it in gloss white with unperfect finish. Then I weathered the whole helmet (same thing for the chin stap and the foam padding)

Hi mate,

looks great. :thumbsup

I haven't forgotten I owe you a helmet kit due to the one before last getting lost. I did stick a few extra bits in with this one. Mic tips, ears etc.....

Looking good my friend, and yes I was talking to you. The helmet I sent you got lost as far as I am aware unless it arrived? I stuck in some extra mic tips and ANH ears etc.... in the JoeR helmet....:)

Here's the new one: RSprop PP helmet!

Image

I initially wanted to make it clean....but wasn't happy with the result. It sounded "wrong" to me and I finally decided to add some weathering (but no paint cracks).

Some details: silkscreened decals (from my own design), three parts white resin mic tips (not a recast but a scratch build), green acetate lens, yellow star form inside, rubber trim glued with neoprene.
