I'd say its on par with Rubies for different reasons. I guess it all boils down to cost and what the casual fan is interested in.

Leo, thats what my vision is like in the morning... :lol

It might not be perfect, but nobody can say with a straight face that it is on par with the Rubies. That's like saying a Kia is on par with a Ferrari. Yeah they're both cars, but that's where the similarities end.

I'd love to know in what respects you think the Sideshow statue looks as inaccurate as the Rubies one. Do tell.

No news from be about this Vader, hope it's ok to post it up here.
It's also 1:1 from Sideshow , realy interesting to read who was involved, if you read what Tom Spina says.

http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f22/side ... ett-45354/

So may we get some news who was involved to the Vader,as i think maybe also a " fanmade" project if Sideshow goes more on the "fanmade" prop section with there Boba Fett lifesize.
If you understand what i mean.I know my english is not the best :lol

I'm 99.9% positive the belt buckle is mine. Gino ordered 2 ROTJ buckles from me 4-5 months ago.

its is pretty cool.. for a life sized vader that is.. now is it a ROTJ or a ESB? that is the question..helmet features suggests its ROTJ. to where the shoulder armor (seeing it in the video) and base suggests it is ESB.

so which is is SS? they never mention it in the video. also..is the body suit sculpted or is it real leather? hard tellin not knowin.

As i understand him in the video, he sculpted the body to Prowse size and the girl made the leathercraft to fit this body.
Nothing wearable.

Gino says in the video that SWC posted everything was made by them except for the gloves. well, he agrees with star wars chick when she says that "everything was made by you guys except the gloves". not very cool to take credit if the buckle is yours.

i should have been more specific , i meant to say was..i wonder if only the torso of the body suit is sculpted or real. only because it looks so tight.
