Impressive helmet. My kit still sits untrimmed and unassembled.

I like your choice of music. Not Sci-fi related but hard not to like Tommy Emmanuel! :thumbsup

Man alive I want one of those. So what's the deal with them are they a facebook exclusive, sold out already? If I read their FB page right it looks like they're already shipping but I don't see any real info on them other than "here they are". I've tried to contact SiMan but not heard anything back yet. I imagine he's got a mountain of messages to go through.

Yeah, I think they are just busy.

I know this is as close as it could be, but the fact the originals held paint so poorly, this wouldn't be for me... but man, those are some sharp pulls.

Here's their site: http://www.rspropmasters.com/stunt-helmet/

They've got a pull of the SiMan helmet in tan HDPE--if I read correctly it's the exact same stuff that the originals were pulled from. They've got a thread up over at the RPF with some fantastic photos.

It's not HDPE ist PP, as i read 1,5mm thick.
Not the original stuff, cause no one know's it but very very close.
Also you can read more about it here:
