A work in progress ... But here's my Latest project ... The TM ESB Darth Vader Helmet.

I have to order the right screen mesh still ... I have lenses coming from Vadermonkey soon.

It's a work in progress.

The mask is looking great. I just meant I was surprised to see the thread because people are usually a bit more secretive about this mask.

You are really working fast there, my man. Gonna be great seeing it all painted and finished.

Edit:
Yeah, you gotta fix the pictures.

Also... I'm not secretive about mine... I just haven't really made any progress worth showing on it yet.

C.

Here's a couple shades of gunmetal grey that I found locally ... The one on the left is Rustoleum brand (From Lowes), and the one on the right is a GM auto paint color (From Meijer). The auto body color is slightly darker, richer in color, and has a warmer tint to it. I think I'm leaning towards using that one.

Dome mount in now finished ... Also began priming and sanding it.

I've coated all interiors with resin and auto body filler, and opened up the chin vent a bit more

Looks realy good so far .
Hope you have not ruined the most of the details ( bumps ,dents) while sanding and priming the whole helmet.
Well it's an TM , a screen cast , not a DP deluxe copy or something else.

No,

all the details are still there. I made a few small dents while working on it, that I had to fill. The ESB lid looked pretty smooth though didn't it? The teeth in most photos look smoother than what I'm seeing on the TM.

That's a great looking helmet you have there. You must have balls of steel to have modified it . I'm sure the finished helmet will look stunning . I'm really jealous :lol , I'd love to display that at home.
