Thanks for chiming in Nairod and sorry again for my harsh comment
As others said its still open where this Bentley O'Tool (sounds like the name of a big porn star) got his hands on one of the casts.
I showed Jesper the pic of the inside and he is pretty sure that thats a cast from his moldmaker (fiberglas structure)...but if you look on the top of the inside there is no mounting mechanism or remains from it....that would mean that this was an unfinished cast, finished from a person x with this screw mechanism (O'Tool or someone else) and traded with Nairod.
Sadly i got a message from Jesper yesterday that his moldmaker mixed some orders from a TM ESB (from Jespers mold) and his TM Jedi mold (he is no SW expert and dont know the differences)...result was that some (no idea how many) Jedi casts went to a member and obviously were sold to person x.
Whats frustrating is that a cast went that fast into a recasters hands. The whole first run is just three years ago.
So in the end there are two alternatives....it was the missing cast or one of the x unfinished casts which were sold by a member here.
I still would like to hear what DIF has to say.
@Nairod Did you rebuilt anything regarding the dome mechanism (the former was lookin like a Tour helmet from the inside) and was the paintjob completely finished. Jesper finished the helmet not super shining but with a more accurate and rougher paintjob. You can see some pics here in the thread. It would help a lot to know if your helmet is a finished one (then i bet its the missing helmet) or if its a recast/original cast out of the TM mold which was irregulary sold.
