Hi,

Thanks for all your kind comments guys!

I've been busy sculpting my own hand plates as we were given some by someone telling us they were from a tour suit and it turns out they were TM/Pauls old ones!
Although Paul was a gent and said we could use them, I decided it was better for us to keep the CFO lineage clean and sculpt our own.....

And seeing as it was so quiet at work after sculpting the hand plates I decided to also make the detonator/ C02 canister detail too as I don't think any one has offered them with the armour before....

Since the test pull I have been in the workshop ironing out any issues I had with the moulds/buck and mounting various pieces to boards etc.

I also made the drop box and inner box pieces too.

More to come....... :thumbsup

Hi Guys,

Just thought I should give a little update.....With some great pics....

I pulled a test suit a couple of weeks ago as you saw and decided I should spend a day or two putting the thing together. You'll have to excuse the slightly camp pose of the mannequin Laughing I hadn't noticed it's stance until after I had taken the pic!

We are still sourcing the white trim. Waiting for the lenses, and mic tips too.

Also what wasn't with the original moulds I have sculpted or made from scratch myself.....

ROTJ Detonator detail, Hand guards, and end caps

Belt and Knee ammo box.

I couldn't resist posting this. To me it looks like a tiny airfix type armour kit. So I messed around with the pic a bit.

Another lovely Vac forming pic.....

I was a bit limited on what power tools I could use in the staff room at lunch time! :lol :toothy

Anyway angle grinders are for wimps..... I only use chain saws and occasionally a JCB...... :eek

Thumbprint on both biceps ? Is that correct for rotj ?

Well..to answer my own question , yes it would appear from checking screenshots that ROTJ armour did indeed have thumbprints on both biceps.
Sorry for doubting you Mark ...

I saw Joe's rear van shot of the vacformed trooper pieces on facebook. :thumbsup Did you guys ever finish one off completely with all the fixings?

Yep, we are pretty much there. We are just ironing out a few issues we had with the vac former. We just need to give him a list of pieces we need replacing, due to cooling lines, webbing etc. Once we receive them all we will get some photos up of the finished pieces then build one up so you can see it assembled. As far as fixings are you referring to: handplates, belt, belt strap, sniper plate, knee box, O2 detail and end caps, drop boxes, elastic strapping, helmet trims, lenses and decals, and mic tips? If so yes we have everything except the White trim. The White trim is very hard to get over here and I think we will have to either get it custom made, import it or just give customers a link where to get it. :thumbsup
