I was able to obtain this TE “Bumpy” HDPE stunt Stormtrooper helmet in October of 2008. It had been already been painted in the ESB style, however the eyes were left untrimmed and the 4th notch in the frown was left uncut so that it could be easily converted to an ANH style.

As my favorite look of the Stormtrooper helmet is in the ESB style I decided to trim the eyes and cut out the 4th notch. Since I didn’t care too much for the previous owner’s paintjob, I striped the helmet and repainted it myself. Then I was able to start adding the details such as the decals, lenses, padding, mic tips, rubber trim, etc. I was able to take some pictures today so I thought I’d share some of them.

I hope you all approve! :salut

Wow, that's some really sharp detail on the rear of head - the horizontal ridge beneath the trapezoids. And that's in the plastic itself and not a mod?

Looks like one of the sharper pulls.

Thanks for all your kind words guys! :)

Mac, that ridgeline is in the plastic itself. There have been no modifications made.

I had one of these(ANH style) as well. You did a great job on this one, it really captures the ESB style, very nice! :thumbsup

Cheers

Very cool work.

I tell ya, in a few years time there are going to be some scratching of heads when something like this turns up at an auction house and people think its original

Cheers
