The center box, the silver thing is crooked on ANH and ESB. Is it supposed to look like that? It's making my eyes go all wonky.

Dont worry your eyes are ok, yes the silver buckle plate is on the scew in starwars and empire also.

Great pics. I'm glad I wasn't going nuts when I posted that the ANH boxes had red "washers" around the base of the knobs.

Gino - if Cantina Dude used your photos as a basis for his work is it really that much of an issue?
By the looks of things he's put a lot of work into these illustrations.

I may hasten to add there are quite are many other images of Vader's belt so it could be from one of those too...
