There appears to be a new vendor on eBay called vacuum_dis! I have a feeling this is the same guy as newimage58 a.k.a. e-chu-ta! The photos bear an uncanny resemblance of the AP that e-chu-ta/newimage58 was recasting. And now there appears to be an entire suit.

Looks like he's been busy.

Definitely the linage is not AP, That one it is sharper in details, check the nose bridge or the cheeks. It is a VT helmet who got the molds from CAP.

Cheers

I don't have a solid eye for stormtroopers. Would you say this is a VT:

Vacuum_dis = Vacuum_this (VT) = e_chu_ta

Some months ago (when his ebay's name was e_chu_ta) I bought him two helmet kit! One stunt ans one Hero.

Helmets kit are not bad. Stunt is not my favorite from him, but his Hero is really great. Actually, it's the best Hero kit that I saw (it's just my opinion)

I had noticed that Vaccum This (VT) is using e-chu-ta's images. I had saved a bunch of e-chu-ta images a while back, and the comparison is unmistakable.

E-chu-ta is linked to newimage58

VT is linked to E-Chu-ta.

I also heard back from AP. He relates that not only is the mask a recast but the ARMOR is also a recast.

RECASTER ALERT!

Regarding to your question,...yes I believe that mask is a VT mask. My first bucket was an AP and the shapes were very smooth compared to the mask on the picture, still I think it is very nice. This is the sharpest AP I have seen before and still some of the details are very soft. I do not have an opinion about newimage58 since I did not see any of his lids yet. My 2 cents :salut

I do beleive bucks can be sharpened or modified in detail. One has to examine surviving tells. Apparently there's enough that AP could identify in both the helmet and the armor to label him as a recaster.

I can see your point Mac, and you are certainly right, but in the case of the VT I certainly know is a reworked TE, in the other hand I unknown the origin of new image58 but I do not see similitudes with the VT mask.

The armor is most definitely an AP or GF recast. Way way way too many tells. The duplicate thigh pieces, shins, forearms, biceps, shoulders, etc. I'm sure you see what I mean. :banger

And he is selling recast Frightstuff Hockey masks. This guy is dirty. :nono
