Fifth scale resin figures made by Horizon back in the day.

Gonna do up a diorama with only their helmets and neck collars, as the big figures are just a tad too big all-round for my taste. Gonna do it up as the symbol of the planet they go to in the movie, the symbol with the three moons over the pyramid, with their helmets standing in as the moons, if you can picture that.

Hope it'll look cool once finished. :toothy

And here they both are together - this picture is taken with flash whereas the others are without flash:

And one of the Horus, really showing off the shine of the Rub 'N Buff:

Well, promised an update. Finished the ears/frills and the heads are just on for show. Will work out some lighting feature for their eyes down the line.

Enjoy:

Those are looking pretty good! :thumbsup

Really nice job with the metallic paint. Can’t wait to see it when you get the eyes to light up!

Yeah... shudder to think about that, but I think it'd bring a whole other level of awesomeness to the build-up with light up eyes.

Well, I kinda let things slide for a while. Shame no one was willing to help me out make some spare parts. Oh well.

Might as well just finish them up as much as possible and then work out lighting later, if I ever get around to that.

Been a while since I worked on these. The Rub'n'buff loses its luster after a while, so I decided to strip the heads to make up for some of the mistakes I made and do it right the second time. Unfortunately during the span of time I've lost one of the ears, so I'll either have to sculpt a new one or copy one of the existing ones somehow. I'll have to figure that out once I've stripped the pieces. That Purple Power really is awesome stuff to strip resin pieces with, but beware, if you have cheap recasts or props made from cheap resin IT WILL eat through it.
