Hi Brian,
A few more questions please mate
1) When you sculpted the abdomin, was it meant to be a one piece plate or was the cod section cast seperately? Same question for the lower back/kidney section and the butt plate?
2) Also, we know the armour was first filmed on the sandtroopers which did not feature some of the parts the stormtroopers have, so did you have anything to do with the sculpting of the shoulder straps, knee plates or belt boxes that hang off the belt?
3) Another question about the canister on the back of the belt. Was regular rain water fall pipe used and what was used for the detailing on the plate?
4) Do you know what was used to make the mould for the detailing for the plate that goes onto the abdomin with the buttons and stripes?
5) Were there any parts that you sculpted that were NOT used on the final design?
Thanks!
-Paul.
Hi Paul,
1. The abdomen and cod piece were sculpted as seperate pieces and the same goes for the lower back and butt pieces.
2. No I had nothing to do with the shoulder straps, knee plates or belt boxes.
3. I had no input on the belt or cannister.
4.I sculpted the detailing and it was then moulded and cast as with the rest of the armour.
5. No, everything I sculpted was used.
