Bund and vest combo came from a talented lady on the Bikerscout boards with the screen name Ladyghst. I am an unabashed banner waver for her. I have done alot of biz with her, and she is awsome to deal with. Kinda slow, but quality is worth it. She also modded my jumpsuit and Made the cloak for the gaurd.

My biker is my best, I am so proud to wear that one. :lol

I'm not well studied on my Biker Scouts but the one you have there looks awesome.

Keep up the good work with Kir Kanos! Are you going to make the left wristguard metallic gray?

I am actually hoping to get the time this deployment to machine an aluminum gauntlet. I think that would complete the look. I have hopes of getting the strip on the helmet done here in the near future. I have talked to the 501st LMO on the requiremants, and have a good idea what to change... Ill post up when I get there.

Just ordered my leather body suit for Vader today! Whoot! Cape and robe are all thats left, Then paint and the hard work begin... :lol

The scout rocks! If you're going sandtrooper, then you need to lose the dropboxes and ab buttons. And the sniper knee plate is a little different. And yes, the helmet needs to go. :)

I am looking at the ANHV2 for the lid, and a set of AP for the SandTrooper... I have some parts for the conversion, but dont know if I like them...

Man that scout is awesome! It is great to see someone actually go through all the steps and get all of the details on the scout. There are just too many folks who dont go that extra mile with the vest, and correct flightsuit mods.

I say go for it with the AP sandtrooper. I just helped a coworker put together an AP sandy back in February and it looks great. The overall quality of the AP stuff is top notch. It has its innaccuracies being from the GF lineage, but it is far and away better than the FX kit. Let AP know you are doing a sandy beforehand and he will send all of the correct detail bits.

Good luck with this and the Vader. And be sure to post up pics as you progress.

I don't know scouts like i know troopers or vader but i have to say you one among the best scouts i have seen!

I'm not a fan of the FX armor or clean TK's with a TD set up. I hope that doesn't seem rude of me.

Your Imperial guard looks great your in pretty good shape! What i was thinking of doing ( when i thought about doing one) was get a muscle shaded suit in all black like the kind used in the spider man flims.

something like this

really gives that comic book EU feel i think

Wow...those look really nice. I love the royal guard. The Biker scout has the right look to it. Not sure what to do with the storm trooper. I also have the FX armor...haven't tried to mod it yet.
Believe it or not I've had it for two years and have never tried it on...just threw it on a mannequin. I had such a near death experiance in my Vader for 6hrs once...I never got around to trying the trooper. :lol

Anyway...is the royal guard from the new comics? Just wondering.

Thanks all for the input!

Gundam, I agree on the look of the mix and match, in that pic i just wanted to wear everything. I have sence seen the light...lol

the gaurd is a comic book likeness, from the Darkhorse series Crimson Empire. I am more after the second series look. I still need to make boot tops, and a few detail tweeks. Hoping to be the first Kir Kranos in the legion.

I am stoked you all dig the scout, Its actually my second set. I learned alot on the first, and went all out on the second. Some really talented people helped me along the way.
Ill have to post up on the progress of vader, but in here you all are really experts on this. I dont have the funds to go all out on vader, but I will have a really nice midgrade. It will all match for ESB, and have the correct look to fit the part. Final pieces are coming together, cape and cloak on the way as I type this. Just waiting on the belt I ordered 2 months ago... :grumpy

Awsome site here, and I am useing tons of the info to build my costume.
Keep up the good work in here!

I have not been to the Den in a while... I had some issues...

but I did want to show my nearly finished Vader, and thank you all for a great reaserch site. If there is a question on Vader, Its in here and In full detail.

All I await is a new OT lid. I am full ESB, New lid in the mail.

Things to change in the future would be the Chest box and shoulder armor.

I am very happy with this one. Awsome Trooping Vader.

I like the Biker scout's crotch cloth approach. It allows you to actually sit down in your costume.
