I think that "very modified" in those PMs is misinformation because it implies an alteration of the structure well beyond the intentions of the original prop artists.

Mac, you are misunderstanding what Clutch said. His pm remark was in answer to your question about how he was told there weren't any castings made available.

His modification remark refers to the ROTJ offering, which he obviously has no interest in.

I didn't realize that posting those pics would cause a problem. If Clutch is pissed off he didn't get a casting then let him be pissed. I was upset I wasn't able to get a VP so I know how he feels.

My apologies, then, to clutch for misunderstanding him.

Anyways...

this....

is absolutely gorgeous. This one, like Vadermonkey's, look so freakishly like the real thing that if the photos had that aged look, I would have possibly considered them historical shots.

Fortunately, no people wearing bell-bottoms pants and sideburns were photographed in the process. :toothy

I want to thank everybody for their kind words and compliments so far. It is a great time for us Vader"Maniac's", and I am under the impression that we all get a little bit closer as a group. I would be very happy if my little presentation serves as an inspiration and motivation to this wonderful hobby.

Pete, thank you so much for showing us your fantastic ANH version of the faceplate. I hope that we will see more of it soon.

I am 34 and not ashamed to admit I just pee'ed my pants.

Thank you so much for sharing, dont know how I missed this earlier. I think maybe I have come to just over look new Vader threads and usually they get bent, twisted, flamed and brought down.

Nice to see some beauty here, thank you Prop Den, vadermania and JRX for sharing the love.

Thanks Anthony. Hopefully soon, I'll be able to post a few more shots in my own thread.

Personally I think that the TM casting is THE helmet for the sheer looks of it ...

Now that is outstanding!

Bloody hell! Darth Karo, you have the best ANH Vader I think I have ever seen, anywhere! .. my mind is well and truely boggled, well done.

I second that. The TM has the unique ability to be both ESB and ANH, well..That's if you have the correct versions.

I think people know my opinion on the TM so I will just say one more time..Outstanding Pete.
