Oh well, the true is I did not try to flex the HDPE to much. The Krylon paint I used for my helmet(fusion) creates a solid bound with the HDPE plastic, but you need to put it away for a week after the paint has been applied . If you troop with this helmet on it is probable that it may get scratch and crack like the ones used for ANH or ESB since the HDPE material is very, very flexible. Mine is in a display case and works great :wink:

That's a great looking helmet . :) I've saved your tube painting pics for the time I come to do my own. They will prove to be very helpful indeed.
