Jez, great shots!

Now comes the big question: which do you like more, personally?

Great shots Jez....I really like the look of the MR. Maybe once more of these get into peoples hands we'll get some good comp pics against some screen grabs. Would be interesting to see how it stacks up overall.

I have an SDS armor and the color is not exactly the same than the MR but do you think the MR helmet could match with the SDS armor color?

On the originals the helmet and armor color didn't match either, so you should have no worries there! :thumbsup

Thanks Guys

Mac - Favourite?

Difficult to say really as theyre at different ends of the spectrum. Neither is 100% correct for the Hero, - but then IMO no helmet has ever nailed the Hero look since all (apart from the SDS) were cast from a Stunt faceplate , including the MR so have the Stunt traits.

Whether the SDS came from original moulds or skins from the original moulds - its face does look more "hero-like" to me, but the angle of the faceplate on mine is still not correct and yet I've put a lot of effort into trying to get it as vertical as I can.

Cheers

Jez

My understanding is that the MR is made of fiberglass.

I have to agree with Jez, the SDS 'Hero' Helmet is more accurate than the MR Helmet, other than the angle of the faceplate (which can be corrected). By the way, any tips on how to do that Jez? I am planning to change and modify my SDS as well in the near future.

It seems to me that the faceplate on the MR Helmet is slightly smaller and narrower than the SDS Helmet as well, which you may notice in Jez's second photo.

Thanks for the great pics Jez!

I got today my Master Replicas Stormtrooper helmet. n° 86 / 1048

Even If It's idealized I am very happy with it!
I wanted to add the brown lenses, I prefer how it looks with it ( MR had a really good idea to put a second set of lenses in the box)
