First in mid September this year my lifesize Vader tipped over, and my
beloved SPFX ANH Vader Helmet got badly damaged ... and now this ...
This weekend my lifesize Stormtrooper fell over and the Fiberglass
Helmet got some bad bad damage, the armor also got "injured" ...
Man, sometimes I feel like I want to throw the whole garbage out the
window, really ... :angry4 :angry4 :angry4 ... this really REALLY sucks !!!

Sorry to hear that. Heard about you Vader, but haven't seen pics of the damage to that one, but the trooper do look repair-able.

I can understand how you feel, just one of those days...don't let it get to you. It is how you handled the matter that defnes your character....

Anyway, I would like to camp outside your window too

This is exactly why I hate fiberglass. It is way too brittle and god forbis something should fall to the ground and the ground is not heavily carpeted and padded. Tragedy. :violent

I know that this is a huge afterthought, but you may want to think about installing a bracket from the lifesize to the wall. Like run a bar from the mannequin waist to a wall stud. Should keep any future tip overs from happening.

That's absolutely terrible! I'm so sorry to see such damage. :pale

At the very least it can be repaired.

I'd call it battle damage.

I have an authentic German WW2 helmet that had suffered from either a direct head shot or a shrapnel hit at the top that was repaired, the helmet repainted and then put back into service.
