....for your Trooper displays? They look to be fairly thick rubber on screen but all of the sets that I find are dish gloves with the checked palms....the real deals look to be smooth...any ideas?

I gotta finish my display.....after 2 years!!! :lol

Kev,

Here are what I have always used:

They are military issue Chemical gloves and are smooth and thick. They look absolutely perfect, and are coincidently the same type of glove used for the Ghostbusters.

I think the black washing up gloves are perfect and I think that is what they used originally. The NBC gloves are way too think and the fingers look too bulbous IMO.

Hmmmm...interesting...thanks TM. I'm gonna check out a few different types. Some chemical gloves are way too thick and bulky but I found a set that are quite a bit thinner. I just don't want the checked pattern on the palm...I'll post pix and details once I pick them up.

I don't have a problem with the chequering on my rubber gloves. Can we be sure that they are not on the screen suits? If you can find some nice thin NBC gloves then cool, I'd be up for a pair to compare them to my washing up gloves :)

I've looked and I don't see any checkering on the screen caps....mind you, I don't have the HD version of ANH yet. Maybe I'll try to solicit some HD screen grabs on the RPF and we can nail it.

Great shot posted at the RPF....at least the Hero gloves look to be smooth. I wonder if the Stunts are the same?
