Much better! Thanks for the pics and review.

If the price goes down in the future, I might bite.

Thanks guys

tbh I've been really impresssed with MR's attitude - they are very keen to do whatever they reasonably can to make this as good as possible.

Its a shame that after this and the Fett there'll be no more :(

Cheers

Jez

Agreed.
I would love to have seen MR eventually go after a biker scout or snowtrooper helmet.
Even if only scanned from an original, it would be the only stuff out there linked to real stuff.

Are those the final colors? Or are they going to leave the colors that way so that people don't mistake them for props or something?

I love the design though, and I'm glad they're soliciting feedback and actually acting on it.

I have yet to own an MR. If the price is right, I might at some point make this my first one.

These helmets will come with two sets of lenses; a green set and a grey set.

The face is still way too sharp and that vocoder still isn't right they have improved it but it's still not right to me.

So if they had access to the original, why was the first go around so screwed up? Why release pictures of something that isn't going to look like the final product? That can't be good for business. The final version reminds me of an SDS more than anything.

Actually, for me the sharpness is the thing that I like about it. I have enough wonky helmets in my collection. I like the fact that it's cleaned up but still retains accurate porportions and details...for the most part.

Although the ears on the first version were atrocious.

I would like to see them make the frown paint more pointy at the ends like the original prop. Right now they look to wide and round. But that is a real simple fix.
