SDS you mean? AA/SDS? That was my first guess, but I am primarily a Vader guy.

So can you take a photo of the interior? I don't think it's ABS due to all the little bumps and everything. I'm guessing fiberglass or resin. Get as sharp a photo as you can, as I'd like to ascertain what the material it is before I make any suggestions.

The other reason I do not believe it is ABS is because ABS is normally vacuum formed -- sheets are heated up so that they are soft, and then they are formed over a postive known as a "buck". Then you remove the cooled formation from the buck and you have a shape. The shape has to be such that you can remove the formed piece from the buck. For this reason, the Stormtrooper helmet, when vacuum formed, is comprised of three or four separate pieces.

Because your helmet looks like one piece, it looks like someone recast a fully assembled helmet, including the eyebrow strip over the eyes which is usually a rubber black strip added towards the end. If someone were recasting a finished helmet, then this casting we see is consistent with that effort.

Yeah, it's a recast of TE's fiberglass set for stun helmets. It's obviously resin. TE knows about it and doesn't sound too happy. :protest
