Thanks guys... I'm getting the box from Tosphaser as he has done a new plug and is making a mold from it now. He has also molded the red and green lights off the correct ones.
Fortunately the lights I came across in a deal about a year ago and they are now very hard to come by. I have been searching for another set for a while without any luck, so it looks like I will have to put the cast ones on my other box. It would be good to see if somebody can make these out of tinted clear resin or even better still correctly coloured plastic.

I wanted to say thanks again to Mike for making the rockers. I had been waiting for the longest time to do an accurate ANH chestbox. Gathering other bits and pieces and finally now the rockers. I wish Russ would make his newer rods just a tad longer because they have the correct thickness, but are shorter than his previous versions. The color of the aluminum is also different so I was left to using his older rods. I just threw this together for some pics, nothing is bolted or glued down yet so the spacing is off a bit.

I purchased two sets from two RPF members, but I can't find the other set. Also lone pigeon from the RPF has the green ones.

You could always buy two greens and paint one if you really need a set. I also remember that someone had sold a cast the buttons on ebay and colored the resin. They looked pretty good. I believe it was tosphaser, who also happens to be an RPF member. Is he a member here as well?

Hey Kraaam, yes they are, but the rods are a year old. His newer versions are of a different color and shorter in length.

The rods look so skinny on the repro boxes or is the fact that the rods on the original look so fatter caused by light flare, if you know what I mean, making them appear fatter than they are?

Russ' older rods are pretty accurate in size, but a bit thinner in the rod section.

His newer rods are pretty close in thickness, but are too short.

If he can combine the two, we'd have some damn close and accurate rods.

Would it help to send accurate measurements to him to work after?

Sorry for the OT in the rocker switch thread.
