Was the 'Stylophone' theory ever proven or discreditted in the end?

Darth Phaeton, you're scaring me now!

I don't see myself working on an ANH Vader anytime soon, though I'd like to one day. Assuming I can find a Stylophone how close is the mesh on it??? Any good? it looks passable to me but I haven't really spent the time researching this stuff.

... ok ok ok ... For those of you living in the US I must warn you about
shipping costs first - those devices weight about 10 Kilos (20 pounds),
so shipping is HORRIBLY expensive outside Germany !!!
You only get about 9 to 10 sets of mesh out of one of those when you
cut it "fair" ...

TELEFUNKEN MAGNETOPHON SERIES 200

(built with that mesh on the cover from 1968 to 1971 as far as I know)

Models found with that ANH Vader Mesh on the front Speaker Cover:

- Model 200
- Model 201
- Model 203
- Model 210
- Model 230
- All above Models in TS and Deluxe Version

Here are a few Pics for you - :)

Note that also other Brands or Makers of other devices used the same
mesh in that time priod, so you might also be able to find it on UK or US
brands of such things ...

Cheers and SHARE - :)

Jesper

Just so you all know it. you are all on the top of the list, The Vader Hitman is comming for you, hired by the EGO's out there. This was a secret to great to be shared without retaliation. I know as I was almost done by, when I revealed the Green beltbox lights back then.

BEWARE MUVUHAHAHAHAHAHA

:lol :lol :lol :lol

:pale :pale :pale ... I thought you had it sold by now .. sorry Gundam ...

I'm sure you will get the mesh sold, as the shipping to the US is so damn high
that it is total NONSENSE to have one shipped to the US for that price.
So most (clever) people will just buy a set of mesh and be happy with it - :)

Post it on the Junkyard on the RPF and here on the Black Market - I'm sure
there are still some people out there who missed on the mesh.
I have only 2 sets left at all, so ... no competition, hombre -
