Here is the test casting I slapped together. I didn't fill the airbubbles yet. Just tacked everything together with superglue and sprayed with flat black.

Very nice, clutch! What kind of material did you use?

Are you going to be offering this?

Someone in Australia has already said that it's a no-go on importing this thing. Don't know about Canada yet. I have great timing.

Cleanup is gonna be just like any other resin kit. Filling, grinding, sanding. Just not as much. I got this one to this state in about 2 hours.

Nah...I don't think it'll be an issue. I just rec'd a MP44 replica not to long ago, as long as the packaging is non-descript, and it's gonna be in pieces, I think we're golden. I'm going to be checking with a RCMP buddy of mine tho, just to be sure....

Thanks T. I hope you are right, Kev. How do you think I should mark the box? Plastic star wars blaster replica?

Hi Clutch,

That is a piece of great beauty I always wanted a replica but unfortunately getting one into the UK at the moment is a no go :(

One of my favourite trooper guns.

Cheers Chris

...even "toy model" is fine. That's how my MR E-11 and resin E-11s were labelled when I got them. Made it through no problem.
