I know you'd probably have to be a member, but MLC posted his newest version of the Biker Scout helmet on BikerScout.net and it looks great. Getting closer to what I like about the originals - only very minor stuff needed now... possibly getting that in a V4 or something... :lol but so far, imo, this is the closest you'll get to the real thing: :thumbsup

MLC Biker V3 helmet!

MLC Biker V3 helmet!

Wasn't the illusive DP Deluxe Fiberglass Biker Scout Helmet a direct casting
from an Original ???

I know only a few made it out, but there must be "recasts" of it existing ?

I just ask because I have gotten to a point where I don't want to buy any
"modified" Helmets anymore and only spend my hard hard saved money
for stuff that will really satisfy my "Movie-Accuracy" Needs - :rolleyes

I have no clue regarding the DP DLX on whether it was cast from a real one... though... I kinda doubt it... but I honestly don't know.

SgtFang over at the RPF may eventually get casts of the DP DLX made, like his other DP DLX Master copy offerings.

Thanks for posting that link. :thumbsup

I've been looking for a (more or less) SA Scout helmet like that for quite some time. Looks very good IMO

For ventilation. On the originals they were stickers and on the MLC V1 & V2 the holes were reversed from the original, but it seems that it has been rectified.

Ventilation ? seriously ? :lol how much air are you going to get passing through those few small vents really ?
I think thats pants if i bought one i'd fill that area in straight away.

And don't talk about KS kits man i bought one of those helmet kits ages ago thought i'd save myself a few quid and build it myself well what a nightmare :lol they come with no instructions and the parts aren't even trimmed they are literally just cut out of the sheet and there are no guides to trim to for all the headaches blood pressure rising swearing and everything it is well worth just paying the extra bit and buy it ready built.
